The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated figures on Russia’s military losses since the start of the full-scale invasion.

Russian forces have lost approximately 1,202,070 personnel killed or wounded since February 24, 2022, including 840 casualties over the past day, Kyiv reported.

The General Staff estimated Russia’s total combat losses between February 25, 2022, and December 26, 2025, as follows:

  • Tanks: 11,459 (+3)

  • Armored combat vehicles: 23,804 (+3)

  • Artillery systems: 35,509 (+74)

  • Multiple launch rocket systems: 1,579 (no change)

  • Air defense systems: 1,264 (+1)

  • Fixed-wing aircraft: 434 (+2)

  • Helicopters: 347 (no change)

  • Operational-tactical drones: 95,334 (+537)

  • Cruise missiles: 4,107 (no change)

  • Fast attack boats / ships: 28 (no change)

  • Submarines: 2 (no change)

  • Motor vehicles and fuel tanks: 71,454 (+180)

  • Special equipment: 4,029 (no change)
