Ukrainian General Staff: Russia has lost 1,246,330 troops in Ukraine since start of war

Ukraine’s Armed Forces General Staff has released updated figures on Russian combat losses, stating that since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost about 1,246,330 troops in Ukraine, including 1,040 over the past 24 hours, killed or wounded.
According to the General Staff, the estimated total Russian combat losses in Ukraine between 25 February 2022 and 8 February 2026 are as follows:
Tanks – 11,651 (+1)
Armoured combat vehicles – 24,010 (+1)
Artillery systems – 37,044 (+8)
Multiple launch rocket systems – 1,637 (+0)
Air defence systems – 1,295 (+0)
Aircraft – 435 (+0)
Helicopters – 347 (+0)
Operational-tactical UAVs – 127,549 (+468)
Cruise missiles – 4,269 (+24)
Fast attack craft / light vessels – 28 (+0)
Submarines – 2 (+0)
Vehicles and fuel tankers – 77,439 (+60)
Specialised equipment – 4,069 (+5)
