Ukraine says Russia has lost over 1.31 mln troops since start of full-scale war

Russia has lost about 1,317,150 troops in Ukraine since the start of its full-scale invasion in February 2022, according to updated figures released on Saturday by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The latest estimate indicates that 1,080 Russian troops were killed or wounded over the past 24 hours.

According to the Ukrainian military, Russia’s total combat losses from February 25, 2022 to April 18, 2026, also include:

  • 11,876 tanks (+6)

  • 24,410 armored combat vehicles (+10)

  • 40,242 artillery systems (+82)

  • 1,743 multiple launch rocket systems (+4)

  • 1,349 air defence systems (+0)

  • 435 aircraft (+0)

  • 350 helicopters (+0)

  • 245,112 tactical drones (+2,104)

  • 4,549 cruise missiles (+0)

  • 33 boats/light-speed vessels (+0)

  • 2 submarines (+0)

  • 90,194 vehicles and fuel tanks (+180)

  • 4,129 units of special equipment (+0)
