The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated figures on Russian military losses in the ongoing war, covering the period from 24 February 2022 to 3 October 2025.

According to the report, Russia has lost an estimated 1,113,430 military personnel (killed and wounded) since the start of the invasion, with 970 additional casualties recorded in the past 24 hours.

The General Staff also reported the following cumulative equipment losses:

  • Tanks: 11,226 (+1)

  • Armoured combat vehicles: 23,298 (+1)

  • Artillery systems: 33,413 (+13)

  • Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS): 1,514 (+1)

  • Air defence systems: 1,222 (+0)

  • Aircraft: 427 (+0)

  • Helicopters: 346 (+0)

  • Tactical UAVs: 66,093 (+273)

  • Cruise missiles: 3,793 (+0)

  • Warships/boats: 28 (+0)

  • Submarines: 1 (+0)

  • Vehicles and fuel tanks: 63,325 (+44)

  • Special equipment: 3,970 (+0)
