Ukraine says Russia has lost about 1,279,170 troops since start of war

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Sunday released updated data on Russian military losses since the start of the full-scale invasion.
According to the figures, Russia has lost about 1,279,170 troops in Ukraine since the beginning of the war, including 740 casualties over the past day (killed or wounded).
The estimated total combat losses of Russian forces in Ukraine from February 25, 2022, to March 15, 2026 are as follows:
Tanks: 11,781 (+4)
Armoured combat vehicles: 24,213 (+1)
Artillery systems: 38,438 (+17)
Multiple launch rocket systems: 1,686 (+0)
Air defence systems: 1,332 (+0)
Aircraft: 435 (+0)
Helicopters: 349 (+0)
Operational-tactical drones: 179,270 (+1,984)
Cruise missiles: 4,468 (+65)
Light-speed boats/ships: 32 (+1)
Submarines: 2 (+0)
Vehicles and fuel tanks: 83,513 (+110)
Special equipment: 4,089 (+1)
