Ukraine says over 1.31 mln troops eliminated since start of war

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Sunday said Russia had lost about 1,311,180 troops in Ukraine since February 24, 2022, including 1,070 casualties reported over the past day.
The estimated total combat losses of Russian forces between February 25, 2022 and April 12, 2026 also include:
Tanks: 11,859 (+8)
Armoured combat vehicles: 24,384 (+3)
Artillery systems: 39,871 (+73)
Multiple launch rocket systems: 1,727 (+1)
Air defence systems stand at 1,345 (+1), while aircraft and helicopters remain unchanged at 435 and 350 respectively.
The report also notes the destruction of 233,866 operational-tactical drones (+2,081) and 4,517 cruise missiles (+0).
Additionally, Russian forces have lost 33 naval vessels/boats and two submarines. Losses in automotive equipment and fuel tanks reached 88,914 (+216), while special equipment losses stand at 4,121 (+0).
