Ukraine says Russian troop losses exceed 1.34 million since start of full-scale invasion

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Saturday said Russia has lost about 1,340,270 troops in Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion in February 2022, including an estimated 1,080 casualties over the past 24 hours.
The figures include those killed and wounded, the body added.
The Ukrainian military also published updated estimates of Russian equipment losses between 25 February 2022 and 9 May 2026.
According to the General Staff, Russian forces have lost:
11,920 tanks (+1 in the past day)
24,541 armoured combat vehicles (+3)
41,712 artillery systems (+82)
1,780 multiple launch rocket systems (+2)
1,371 air defence systems (+1)
435 aircraft
352 helicopters
1,351 ground robotic systems (+7)
281,208 operational-tactical drones (+1,479)
4,585 cruise missiles
33 light-speed boats and ships
2 submarines
95,252 vehicles and fuel tankers (+373)
4,173 units of special equipment
