Ukraine reports over 1.29 mln Russian troop losses, including 1,360 in past day

The General Staff of the Ukraine Armed Forces on Sunday said since the start of the war, Russia had lost about 1,295,830 troops in Ukraine, including 1,360 in the past 24 hours, through a combination of casualties and eliminations.

The updated estimates of Russian equipment losses from 25 February 2022 to 29 March 2026 are as follows:

• Tanks: 11,820 (+8)

• Armoured vehicles: 24,313 (+16)

• Artillery systems: 39,001 (+65)

• Multiple launch rocket systems: 1,707 (+0)

• Air defence systems: 1,337 (+0)

• Aircraft: 435 (+0)

• Helicopters: 350 (+0)

• Operational-tactical drones: 204,060 (+1,948)

• Cruise missiles: 4,491 (+0)

• Light fast boats: 33 (+0)

• Submarines: 2 (+0)

• Automotive and fuel-carrying vehicles: 85,977 (+181)

• Specialised equipment: 4,105 (+0)
