Ukraine hits targets in Russia with US-supplied ATACMS missiles, General Staff says

Ukraine has used long-range US-supplied ATACMS missiles to strike military facilities on Russian territory, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced on Tuesday.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully employed ATACMS tactical missile systems to conduct precise strikes on military targets in Russia,” the body said in a statement.

The specific targets hit during the operation have not yet been disclosed.

The General Staff said Ukraine would continue using long-range weapons, including ATACMS, as part of its defence strategy.
