Ukraine reports additional 900 Russian casualties in past day

Russia’s battlefield losses in Ukraine have risen by another 900 troops over the past day, bringing the total number of killed or wounded soldiers to an estimated 1,136,890 since February 2022, Ukraine’s General Staff said on Sunday.

Reported cumulative losses for Russian forces include:

  • Tanks: 111,291 (+4)

  • Armoured fighting vehicles: 23,477 (+18)

  • Artillery systems: 33,987 (+15)

  • Multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS): 1,526 (+0)

  • Air defence systems: 1,230 (+0)

  • Aircraft: 428 (+0)

  • Helicopters: 346 (+0)

  • Operational-tactical drones (UAVs): 74,399 (+214)

  • Cruise missiles: 3,880 (+0)

  • Light fast craft/ships: 28 (+0)

  • Submarines: 1 (+0)

  • Vehicles and fuel tanks: 65,517 (+81)

  • Special equipment: 3,981 (+0)
