Ukraine’s Defence Forces carried out a series of strikes against key Russian strategic military infrastructure, reducing the offensive capabilities of occupying forces, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The General Staff reported that Ukrainian units targeted the Novokuibyshevsk oil refinery in Russia’s Samara region, one of the country’s largest refineries, with an annual processing capacity of around nine million tonnes.
In addition, Ukrainian forces destroyed a drone storage facility owned by Rubikon and a fuel and lubricants pumping station located in temporarily occupied territory in the Donetsk region.
The General Staff also clarified the damage from a previous strike on the Ryazan oil refinery, noting that key processing units - ELOU-AVT-4 and ELOU-AVT-6 - as well as fuel storage tanks and a pipeline overpass were hit.
