The head of the United National Movement (UNM) opposition party faction in the state legislature, Khatia Dekanoidze, interrupted the very first sentences of the country’s PM Irakli Garibashvili over the country’s European prospects in Parliament by calling him a traitor.
Garibashvili arrived in Parliament on Wednesday to brief legislators over the fulfillment of governmental programmes, where he began his speech by the recent recommendation of the  European Commission to grant Georgia European prospective.

Initially Dekanoidze, and then a fellow member of the party, Ana Tsitlidze, attacked the PM verbally.

Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili urged the opposition MPs to act in accordance with regulations and noted that they would be able to express their views once the PM completed his speech.
