Sozar Subari, Dimitri Khundadze and Mikheil Kavelashvili, the three MPs who left  the Georgian Dream (GD) ruling party on Tuesday, will voice the GD founder, “oligarch”, Bidzina Ivanishvili in parliament, the MPs will be far more radical than the far-right, pro-Russian Alt-Info, the United National Movement (UNM) opposition party MP Roman Gotziridze told Front News on Wednesday.

The trio claimed that being a member of the GD did not allow them to speak openly about various issues, including those on Georgia-EU relations, ongoing war in Ukraine and “attempts to draw Georgia into the war.”

Gotsiridze suggested that being in power “has never been an obstacle”  for current state officials of the GD MPs to “slam the EU, MEPs or foreign leaders.”

He stated that the three MPs were expected to further activate “anti-western and anti-Ukraine campaigns which will benefit Russian interests.”
