US Ambassador Degnan: Georgia was clear in its support of Ukraine

US Ambassador to Georgia Kelly Degnan says that Georgia ‘was clear’ in its support for Ukraine, both in statements and ensuring humanitarian aid. 

 

She has stated that the US has welcomed the statements made by Georgia in support of Ukraine in UN and OSCE. 

 

At an event organized by the Rondeli foundation earlier today, Degnan also said that the unity of Georgian political forces in this difficult time is important for Georgia, for the region and for the Euro-Atlantic community. 

 

“There is no time for polarization,” she said.
