US Central Command Commander – If “Taliban” intervenes in evacuation process, they will receive a crushing response

The United States has warned the Taliban not to interfere in the evacuation process from Afghanistan, or Washington will use “destructive measures” – said US Central Commander General Frank McKenzie. 

 

“I have warned them not to interfere in the evacuation process and I have made it clear that we will respond to any attack with destructive force. Protecting US civilians and our partners is my highest priority and we will take all necessary steps to ensure safe and effective evacuation.”

 

 The Taliban entered Kabul on August 15.
