US citizen Jackson Poll Cramer, who was illegally arrested by the Russian-controlled occupation forces in Georgia’s de facto Tskhinvali region on August 26, has been released with the involvement of the EUMM Georgia and co-chairs of Geneva International Discussions.

Cramer had to spend 11 days in Tskhinvali prison.

He says that he was unaware of the presence of the occupation line and crossed into the Java district of Tskhinvali region.

Cramer arrived in Georgia as a tourist.

The Georgian State Security Service says that they reacted to the illegal detention immediately and informed the international community.
