US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken did not rule out that Washington may provide additional military assistance to Ukraine, noting that this issue is under active consideration.
In an interview with Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty, Blinken said: "We are considering what additional assistance, in addition to the very significant assistance we have already provided, including equipment, would be useful to Ukraine right now. This is being considered very actively."
He called the Pentagon "Ukraine's main partner," but did not answer the host's question whether the United States was ready to satisfy Kiev's request to deploy Patriot missile systems on Ukrainian territory.
A transcript of the interview was circulated by the US Department of State.
