US “strongest supporter” of Georgia’s defence, security – new US Ambassador

Georgian Defence Minister Juansher Burchuladze and the new US Ambassador to Georgia Robin Dunnigan on Monday discussed defence and security in a Tbilisi meeting, with the diplomat calling her country the “strongest supporter” of Georgia’s defence and security. 

 

She also reiterated her country’s “strong support” for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and pledged to take further actions to strengthen bilateral ties. 

 

Dunnigan replaced Kelly Degnan in the post.
