Georgia has expelled 26 foreign nationals following coordinated operations carried out by the Interior Ministry’s Migration Department and other units, officials said on Tuesday.

The ministry said the individuals - citizens of India, Iran, Turkey, Turkmenistan, China, Cuba, Nigeria, Egypt, Lebanon, Cameroon and Pakistan - were removed from the country after recent large-scale inspections identified them as lacking a legal basis to remain in Georgia.

Under existing legislation, all 26 expelled individuals have been issued entry bans.
