Georgia deports 43 foreign nationals in recent days

Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs has deported 43 foreign nationals from the country in recent days, following coordinated operations carried out by the Migration Department in close cooperation with relevant units of the ministry.
According to the MIA, the individuals deported are citizens of Russia, India, Iran, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Jordan, and Tajikistan.
The ministry noted that, in line with current legislation, all deported individuals have been banned from re-entering Georgia.
The MIA also reported that the total number of foreign nationals deported from Georgia in 2025 has reached 1,200.
The Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is the body responsible for combating illegal migration within the country. Its mandate includes identifying foreign nationals residing in Georgia without legal grounds and carrying out deportations through intensive migration control and special enforcement measures, the ministry said.
