Tbilisi International Airport, operated by TAV Georgia, has welcomed the first passengers from Tashkent brought by Fly Khiva, a newly operating Uzbek airline. The carrier has officially launched operations on the Tashkent–Tbilisi–Tashkent route, with flights scheduled twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, using a Boeing 757-300 aircraft.

Fly Khiva received its air operator certificate in 2023 and initially focused on cargo flights across Europe, China, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. In December 2024, the airline expanded into passenger services, with Georgia among its first destinations.

The airline currently operates Boeing 767-300 cargo aircraft and two Boeing 757-300 passenger jets, each equipped with 22 business class and 203 economy class seats.

Following ongoing negotiations with TAV Georgia, Fly Khiva also plans to begin flights to Batumi International Airport starting June 2025. The Tashkent–Batumi–Tashkent route will be served twice weekly, on Thursdays and Sundays.

In 2025, Tbilisi International Airport is set to add eight new airlines to its network, while Batumi International Airport will welcome two.
