Viber enters Georgian market, opens office in Tbilisi

The company RakutenViber has plans to enter the Georgian market and open an operating office in Tbilisi which will be focused on mobile application development, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia has stated.
Minister Levan Davitashvili says that the opening of a RakutenViber office is a good opportunity for local IT engineers.
He noted that it is a message to other global technology companies about a positive business and investment environment in the country.
The Tbilisi team of RakutenViber will also work with other companies to develop software compatible with iOS and Android systems and improve the quality of software, Davitashvili stated.
RakutenViber has offices worldwide in the US, UK, France, Israel, Luxembourg, Belarus, Bulgaria, Singapore, Ukraine and other countries.
