Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Germany to participate in high-level meetings focused on securing reliable safety guarantees for his country.
Writing on social media, Zelenskyy highlighted the agenda of his visit, which includes discussions with a US negotiating team.
“I am already in Germany. Today’s agenda includes a meeting with the American negotiating team. We are focused on ensuring reliable security guarantees for Ukraine, so that the experience of the Budapest Memorandum and Russia’s invasion is never repeated. We are aiming for constructive negotiations,” he said.
Following his Germany visit, Zelenskyy is scheduled to travel to Poland on December 19, where he will meet with President Karol Nawrocki.
