“We have confirmed three cases of the new strain, 31 people are connected with them”

According to Amiran Gamkrelidze, head of the National Center for Disease Control, serious research is underway on new strains of coronavirus.

According to him, three cases have already been confirmed in the country and 31 people directly connected with them, which unites three clusters.

"Three have been confirmed by sequencing and 31 people are connected to them, where the strains are most likely mutated, mainly British," – Amiran Gamkrelidze said.
