Young man stabbed in Tbilisi dies

A young man, 23, died in the hospital last night in after sustaining multiple stab wounds during an altercation in the Saburtalo district of Tbilisi. The victim was transported to a medical facility, but despite efforts to save his life, he succumbed to his injuries.

According to reports, the stabbing followed a confrontation involving around 10 individuals. The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has confirmed that an investigation has been launched under Article 108 of the Georgian Criminal Code, which pertains to intentional murder.

Authorities acted swiftly, and one suspect has already been arrested in connection with the incident. The investigation is ongoing as police work to determine the full circumstances surrounding the fatal attack.
