Georgian winter Olympians to receive cash awards for medal wins

Athletes representing Georgia at the Winter Olympic Games will receive financial rewards for winning prize places, under a Government decision announced by the Administration of the Government of Georgia.

In line with the system used for the Summer Olympic Games, a gold medal will be rewarded with ₾1 million ($371,000), a silver medal with ₾500,000 ($185,560), and a bronze medal with ₾300,000 ($111,336).

At the 2026 Winter Olympics, Georgian athletes are competing in figure skating and alpine skiing.
