Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced plans to travel to Florida, with a stopover in Canada, where he is scheduled to meet Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

Speaking to journalists on Saturday, Zelenskyy said he was already aboard a plane en route to the United States.

“Yes, we are currently on a plane heading to the US city of Florida. On the way, we will stop in Canada, where I will meet with Canadian Prime Minister Carney,” Zelenskyy said.

He added that an online meeting with European leaders is also planned during the trip.

“We will discuss all issues, brief them on the situation and exchange details on the documents that I will be discussing with the President of the United States,” Zelenskyy said.

The Ukrainian President also noted that he intends to raise what he described as “sensitive” issues contained in those documents during talks with international leaders.
