Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Russian President Vladimir Putin is taking advantage of the fact that not everyone in the world condemns his attacks on Ukraine, allowing him to prolong the war.

In a post on X , Zelenskyy said rescue and emergency operations continued throughout Ukraine after Russia launched over 400 drones and more than 40 missiles in recent attacks. At least 80 people were injured, and some remain trapped under debris.

“Not everyone in the world condemns such attacks. This is exactly what Putin exploits. He is buying himself time to keep waging war,” Zelenskyy wrote.

He warned that Russia is constantly trying to sow division globally to prevent stronger pressure on Moscow’s war effort. Zelenskyy called for urgent diplomatic efforts, security guarantees, and a ceasefire. “Pressure must be applied on Russia to make that happen and to stop the attacks,” he said.
