Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reported an intense wave of Russian strikes across the country, with Moscow launching approximately 1,200 guided aerial bombs, nearly 870 attack drones, and more than 80 missiles of various types in the past week.

In a statement on social media platform X, Zelenskyy emphasized that many of these weapons contain foreign-made components obtained despite international sanctions. According to him, Russian weaponry includes more than 82,000 foreign-sourced parts, highlighting ongoing challenges in enforcing restrictions against Moscow’s military industry.

The Ukrainian leader reaffirmed Kyiv’s commitment to securing additional air defense systems, boosting domestic arms production, and tightening global sanctions against Russia.

“We continue our efforts to bring a just peace closer and ensure reliable security guarantees,” he wrote.
