Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday said Moscow does not not have friendly intentions toward other nations.

Zelenskyy’s remarks followed a briefing by Oleh Ivashchenko, head of Ukraine’s foreign intelligence service, who reported on the situation in Russia’s fuel sector in the wake of Ukraine’s long-term sanctions.

The President thanked Ukrainian drone operators for their precise work, as well as the manufacturers of drones and missiles.

Ivashchenko also provided an assessment of the Russian leadership’s intentions, including toward other countries.

“Russia, to put it mildly, has no friendly intentions. Its system is being rebuilt at any time to allow for war against anyone. The only way to stop this is through sanctions - strict sanctions to protect peace and ensure our long-term capabilities,” Zelenskyy said.
