Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday said Ukraine was expecting additional decisions from the United States and its European partners to strengthen the country's air defence capabilities, adding that discussions were ongoing.
Zelenskyy said he had been briefed by the deputy head of the Presidential Office on the results of communications with international partners regarding specific air defence agreements.
According to the President, Kyiv is working with its allies to develop further joint decisions involving cooperation between the United States and European countries.
"There are things we can achieve through cooperation between the United States and European countries. It is important that Ukrainian diplomats ensure the necessary communication between the militaries of our partner states," Zelenskyy said.
He stressed that securing additional missiles and air defence systems remained one of Ukraine's top priorities and thanked partner countries for their continued support.
