Ukraine and India have signed four cooperation agreements, covering medicine, agriculture, humanitarian aid, and culture, during a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“A joint statement was prepared outlining the content of the Prime Minister’s visit, as well as the development of strategic partnerships, trade, and military-technical cooperation between our countries,” Zelenskyy said.

Prime Minister Modi arrived in Kyiv on Friday, marking the first-ever visit by an Indian head of government to Ukraine.

During his visit, Modi also met with the Indian community in Kyiv and paid tribute to Ukrainian children who lost their lives during the Russian invasion.
