Zelenskyy imposes sanctions on top Georgian officials, including Ivanishvili

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a decree imposing sanctions on Bidzina Ivanishvili, the honorary chairman of the Georgian Dream party, and 18 officials.

He described the sanctions as a response to individuals he claims are “handing over Georgia to Putin,” accusing them of undermining the interests of Georgia and its people.

The Ukrainian president called for similar actions from Europe, America, and the international community, urging them to take a principled stand in support of Georgia’s sovereignty and independence.
