Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Thursday said Ukraine had remained in contact with US officials over the past two days and expressed hope that the dialogue would continue at the highest level, including a meeting with US President Donald Trump at next week's NATO summit in Ankara.
Zelenskyy said Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defence Council Rustem Umerov had held talks with Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of President Trump.
The Ukrainian leader also said he continued to expect visits to Ukraine by US special representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
According to Zelenskyy, he hopes to meet Trump on the sidelines of the NATO summit, which is scheduled to take place in Ankara, the Turkish capital, next week.
