Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says that about 100,000 civilians are currently trapped in the city of Mariupol with little food, no water, no medicine and under constant bombardment.

He said yesterday that  more than 7,000 residents managed to escape on Tuesday.

Zelensky also stated that a humanitarian convoy was captured by Russian forces and Ukrainian government workers were taken prisoner.

Kyiv says that they will fight until they win.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, currently making hints on the use of nuclear weapons.

The US says that the Russian president’s ‘back is against the wall,’ and that the letter could use severe methods during hostilities.
