Zelensky declared day of mourning in Ukraine due to fire in Kharkiv

January 23 in Ukraine was declared a day of mourning for those killed in a fire in a Kharkiv nursing home.
This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky at a briefing in Kharkiv.
“I will sign the decree, tomorrow will be a day of mourning at the state level,” – he said.
Zelenskiy noted that police officers and the State Emergency Service reported to him on the current situation.
“Conclusions need to be made after receiving all the details,” – he said. – Once again, condolences to all family and friends. Unfortunately, the reasons for coming to Kharkov last year are not very good. But we'll find out the whole situation. We understand that there will be very serious challenges," – the president said.
On January 21, a fire broke out in Kharkov in a residential building, converted into a house for elderly people, as a result of which 15 people died, 5 more were hospitalized.
