Zelensky imposed sanctions against Medvedchuk’s ally Kozak: his channels 112, ZIK and news_copyOne will stop broadcasting

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, by his decree, put into effect the decision of the NSDC to impose sanctions against MP Taras Kozak, as well as eight companies. The restrictions are imposed for a period of 5 years.

This is stated on the president's website.

The sanctions were imposed on a number of TV channels owned by Taras Kozak. In particular, sanctions have been imposed against the companies TV Vybor, TV and Radio Company 112-TV, Leader TV, Partner TV, Novosti 24 Chas, New Communications. They broadcast under the 112 Ukraine brands, news_copyOne and ZIK.

Among other things, Zelensky's decree indicated the cancellation of their licenses.

The sanctions also include: freezing of assets; restriction of trading operations; limiting the transit of resources, flights and transportation by the territory of Ukraine; preventing the withdrawal of capital from Ukraine;
suspension of performance of economic and financial obligations; full or partial prohibition of transactions in securities issued by persons who are subject to sanctions in accordance with the law; termination of the issuance of permits, licenses for the import into Ukraine from a foreign state or export from Ukraine of currency values ​​and the restriction of the issuance of cash on payment cards issued by residents of a foreign state; prohibition of the transfer of technologies, rights to objects of intellectual property rights;
