Zelensky together with the presidents of Poland and the Baltic states signed a declaration of cooperation

The presidents of Ukraine, Poland, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia met today, May 3, in Warsaw to jointly mark the 230th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. After the meeting, they made a joint statement.

The heads of state expressed the need to support freedom, sovereignty, territorial integrity, democracy, rule of law, equality and solidarity in countries.
“Recalling the experience of the past, proud of the achievements of our current cooperation in the region, recognizing the challenges, we look to the future with hope. on fundamental values and principles, "the statement reads.
The leaders expressed understanding and support for the aspirations of all the nations of the region, with which the peoples are united by a "common historical destiny."
"We believe that for all of us, the solidarity of peoples, especially in the face of modern threats to our common security, is one of the cornerstones of peace, stability, development, prosperity and sustainability. Guided by this conviction, we are committed to continuing dialogue and cooperation among the states that we represent.", – said the parties.
The document was signed by Polish President Andrzej Duda, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid, Latvian President Egils Levits, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda.
