Zelenskyy awards Georgian singer Katamadze

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has awarded Georgian singer Nino Katamadze with the Order of Princess Olga. The relevant decree was published on the website of the Presidential administration this week. 

Katamadze has been awarded “for significant personal contribution to the strengthening of interstate cooperation, for supporting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, for promoting the Ukrainian state in the world.”

Katamadze has actively opposed Russian aggression in Ukraine since its launch last year. 

She also established a fund to help Ukrainian refugees and often holds charity concerts in Kyiv.
