Zelenskyy calls on world leaders to respond a execution video of an Ukrainian soldier

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Wednesday called on the world leaders to respond to a video depicting an execution of an Ukrainian soldier by invading Russian troops. 

“The occupiers will answer for their crimes. It is not an accident, it is not an episode, it happened before, it happened in Bucha, a thousand times, everybody has to react, every leader. Do not expect us to forget it, as time goes by, we are not going to forget anything, we are not going to forgive the killers There will be legal responsibility for everything,” Zelenskyy said.

He stressed the international community would not understand if the world leaders refused to respond to such atrocities.

“Now we must act. We must concentrate as much as possible on the front – help as much as possible to expel the occupier from our land. The main goal is victory. Defeat the occupiers, punish the murderers, try the evil state”, Zelenskyy said. 

A video of the execution of a Ukrainian soldier by the Russians has circulated on social media. Ukraine has already started an investigation into the published footage.
