Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday commended the comments by Salome Zourabichvili, his Georgian counterpart, over the second anniversary of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, and stressed he “highly-valued freedom-loving” Georgian nation.

Zelenskyy extended his gratitude to Zourabichvili for her “solidarity” and “support”, and highlighted the significance of unanimity and “strong pressure” on Moscow to “ensure that all of its neighbouring nations remain free”.

In her social media address on Saturday, Zourabichvili said Russia “did not manage to overcome”, and failed to “destroy” Ukraine and its resilience.

She further noted “Russia did not manage to divide Europe and to divide Europe from you! Solidarity is entire, support is there and success and victory are yours”.
