Zelenskyy: Trump can play decisive role in ending Russia’s war against Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed confidence that US President-elect Donald Trump could significantly impact efforts to end Russia’s war against Ukraine.

“Trump can be decisive, this is the most important thing for us. He can be decisive in this war. He can stop Putin, or, to be fair, help us stop Putin. He can do it,” Zelenskyy said.

Zelenskyy revealed he had already engaged in several conversations with Trump, describing him as “strong and unpredictable.”

“I would like Trump’s unpredictability to bother Russia. I believe that he really wants to end the war. I believe that this is true,” the Ukrainian president added.
