Ukraine is in negotiations with 10 additional countries over bilateral security agreements, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on Friday.

He expressed his satisfaction with the agreements signed with the United States and Japan during the G7 summit in Italy.

He also highlighted that Ukraine has now signed bilateral security agreements with all G7 member states.

“A total of 17 agreements have already been signed, and we are preparing 10 more for signing,” Zelenskyy said.

Earlier, Zelenskyy mentioned that the agreement with the United States includes provisions for the delivery of Patriot air defence systems and F-16 fighter jets.

According to the Ukrainian President’s administration, the agreement with the United States will be submitted to Congress and will be legally binding.
