Zurabishvili awards Georgian designer Gvasalia with order of honour

Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili has awarded well-known Georgian designer, creative director of Balenciaga, Demna Gvasalia, with order of honour. 

Zurabishvili said that Gvasalia deserved the award for his success in the fashion industry and popularisation of Georgia on the international arena. 

A ceremony dedicated to the event took place in Balenciaga’s fashion house, during Zurabishvili’s recent visit to France.
