Georgia has reported 19,968 new cases of coronavirus of 64,187 tests, 23,675 recoveries, and 55 deaths in the past 24 hours. 


224,391 remain infected with coronavirus in Georgia as of now mostly with the Omicron strain.


1,418,027 cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Georgia since February 2020, of which 1,178,151 patients have recovered and 15,459 have died from the virus.


The new cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follows:

Tbilisi - 9,493 cases 

Adjara - 1,654 cases 

Imereti - 2,760 cases 

Kvemo Kartli - 980 cases 

Shida Kartli - 1,184 cases 

Guria - 580 cases 

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 1,327 cases 

Kakheti - 1,110 cases 

Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 410 cases 

Samtskhe-Javakheti - 371 cases 

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 99 cases

6,098 are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today.


216,424 people remain at home.


1,231,649 individuals have been fully vaccinated in the country since March 2021.
