European University becomes owner of Jo Ann Medical Center

European University has become the owner of Jo Ann Medical Center which will be represented on the market under the name - Jo Ann University Hospital.


NNLE Jo Ann University Hospital will be chaired by Tamar Zarginava, Vice-Rector of the European University, while the management of the hospital will be maintained and a board of directors will be added.


The management of European University will ensure different branches to the hospital and it will be present with multidisciplinary functions in the near future.


The management suggests that the students of the Faculty of Medicine of the European University will be given practical training in the clinic by leading specialists in the field.


In addition, patients will have the opportunity to receive inpatient and outpatient services in one space in accordance with modern standards.


Jo Ann Medical Center was founded 25 years ago by American philanthropist Jo Ann McGowan together with Georgian surgeons. 


Over the years, the name Jo Ann Medical Center has been associated with the country's primary cardiology and cardiac surgery services. 


Lately it has been transformed into a multi-functional medical facility with certain types of directions. 


From now on it will be represented on the medical market under the name of University Hospital.
