Man with criminal record, under alcohol influence, kills two police officers in road accident

A man with a previous criminal record and under the influence of alcohol has killed two patrol police officers in a road accident in central Georgia, the country’s interior ministry said on Wednesday.

The body said the suspect was driving at high speed and crashed into a police vehicle standing on the road.

The offender has been arrested.
