In the decisive Euro 2024 playoffs match at the Dinamo Arena, Georgia on Tuesday made history by defeating the Greek national team, securing their maiden qualification for the European Championship.

Georgia emerged victorious over Greece in a tense penalty shootout. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian national team secured their place in the 2024 European Championship by triumphing over Iceland in the final qualifying playoff.

The Ukraine-Iceland encounter concluded with a score of 2:1, with goals from Gudmundsson, Tsygankov, and Mudrikov.

President Volodymyr ZelenskyY extended his congratulations to the Ukrainian national team, praising their achievement:
