12-15-year-old teens allowed to get Pfizer Covid jab in Georgia

Georgian teens aged between 12 and 15 have been allowed to receive the coronavirus Pfizer vaccine with the consent of their parents, Georgian Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia confirmed earlier today.

She also said that any Georgians over 18 will be able to receive a booster dose. 

Individuals over 60 will be able to receive the booster dose after three months from the second shot of any coronavirus vaccine available in Georgia, while others after six months from their second shot. 

Georgia has reported 6,021 new cases of coronavirus, 3,792 recoveries and 75 deaths in the past 24 hours.

536 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.

2,010,783 individuals have been vaccinated in Georgia since March 2021 of which 954,991 have been completely vaccinated.
