2 676 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Georgia

According to the information published on Stopcov.ge, within the intensive testing, 25 730 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours.

 

 As a result of the testing, 2 676 newly confirmed cases of virus infection were detected in the last 24 hours. The total number of confirmed cases detected since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country is 484 254. 

 

As of August 15, the daily rate of positive results is 10.4%, for the last 14 days – 10.47% and for 7 days – 11.09%.

 

In the last 24 hours, 4 119 people have recovered from the virus, and the total number of people who have recovered has increased by 425 651. There have been 30 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

 

A total of 6 436 people have died from the virus since the pandemic spread. Out of 2 676 new cases of infection detected in the country today: 958 cases were detected in Tbilisi, Adjara – 538, Imereti – 319, Kvemo Kartli – 115, Shida Kartli – 80, Guria – 77, Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 161, Kakheti – 297, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 43, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 74, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 14.
